Women and Youth in focus of the cooperation with HAndels,Sweden

The Training Program for two years designed and structured

In the period from 07 to 10 June a two member's delegation of Handels,Sweden from the region Sundswall visited Sarajevo.The puprose of this visit was to meet with the representatives of the FIET Project for BIH and together with them as well as with the representatives of Youth and Women's Section of BIH to design and structure the planned training project for women and youth.

This Project has aim to strainghten and improve the skills of the target group of 30 participanst coming from the women's section and youth section of the commerce trade unions of FBIH and RS and to develop their capabilities of aplying their knowledge and skills in their respective comunities.

Besides disccussing the project itself, our friends from Handels had a chance to meet with representatives of the two sections of CTUBIH in Zenica as well as to get familiar with the general women's work in the trade union movement in BIH by meeting the representative of ICTU office for SEE.

The project has been sent by our colleagues in Sweden to Olaf Palme Foundation for the aproval and hopefully very soon will be ready for the implemenation.

We hope this is not just beginning of the new very interesting and usefull project for CTUBIH but moreover the beginning of the new and ever lasting friendship.

STBIH tražio dozvolu da počne sa kampanjom organizovanja u INTEREX-u

Nakon niza pokušaja da dođe do odgovornih ljudi u INTEREX-u kao i nakon niza kampanja tokom prethodnih godina, napori STBIH su konačno urodli plodom. Na sastanku iniciranom od strane STBIH i upriličenom u prostorijama sindikata u Sarajevu, predstavncii STBIH razgovarali su gđom. Samrom Ljutović,zamjenicom rukovodioca službe za ljudske resurse ove kompanije na temu sindikalnog organizovanja i partnerstva.Nakon prezentacije aktivnosti STBIH kao i stavova menadžmenta INTEREX-a ostaje da se sačeka pismena saglasnost menadžmenta iz Francsuske kako bi se započelo sa organizovanjem. U tom periodu STBIH će intenzivirati priprema kao i pripremiti materijal koji će, nadamo se, nakon dobijanja saglasnosti biti podjeljen svim radnciima ove kompanije širom BIH. INTEREX trenutno ima 21 objekat širom zemlje u kojem radi nešto više od 1000 radnika.

Nadamo se  da će oni što prije biti u redovima STBIH kao i da će menaždment ove kompanije ocjeniti STBIH vrijednim saradnje,  

Meeting of the Steering group held in Sarajevo

From 04 to 06 June FIET Solidarity Project for BIH hosted UNI EUROPA Steering group. Besides their regular meeting this group visited project office in Zenica and disccussed the youth issues with trade union representatives of Commerce Trade Union of BIH and Service Worker's Union of Republika Srpska. In bahalf of Youth Sections from Croatia our colleague Milena Živković-Baršić, from Commerce Tarde Union of Croatia was present. STBIH pozvao PPDIVUT na saradnju

Koordinacijski komitet da,ali sa STBIH u sastavu

STBIH je danas uputio pismo predsjedniku PPDIVUT-a u kojem je izrazio svoju spremnost na saradnju a u najboljem interesu svih radnika KONZUM-a.Kao što smo više puta i isticali STBIH za svoj primarni cilj ima najbolje moguće uvjete rada za svoje članstvo.Menadžment KONZUM-a i AGROKOR-a je jasno poručio da neće tolerisati unutašnja previranja i da su ona samo kontraproduktivna za ispunjenje bilo kakvih zahtjeva radnika. U tom cilju,STBIH je više nego spreman sarađivati sa svim relevatnim partnerima kako bi  za svoje članstvo osigurao poštovanje i reprezentativnost te promovirao njihova prava i interese.

Executive Director of AGROKOR met with CTUBIH representatives

Imidiatelly after the big media campaigne against PPDIVUT, initiated by CTUBIH, the top menagement from Zagreb asked for urgent meeting in Sarajevo. Today, Mr. Mate Greganić,Executive Director of AGROKOR, head of HR Departement met with Azra Šehbajrakatrević,Mersiha Beširović and Fikret Plvičić in CTUBIH office in Sarajevo.

Mr. Greganić has greated CTUBIH in behalf of Mr. Todorić,the owner of AGROKOR and thanked for the support that CTUBIH offered when AGROKOR has bought former VF COmmerce BIH. He informed that the top menagement of AGROKOR is very  sensitive when it comes to the social and workers issues and confirmed the will of the owners to create the positive working atmosfere in the comapny.

On of the main issues were of course problem that CTUBIH has with PPIDIVUT in this company. Mr. Greganić confirmed that owners or menagement will not interfere in the union metters and will support the free will of the workers to join the unions they trust. He fully supported democratic methods of organizing with application forms signed by each worker and promise that will not tolerate the issuing of membership cards withouth written aproval by the worker. The menagement of the company call for mutual agreement to be found in order to make workers interests to be heard and respected and CTUBIH promissed that will give its best to support the positive working atmosfere. CTUBIH is not afraid of competition. It is garanty of continuing success for our members but we will not tolerate the presure and the well known methods of PPIDUVT when it comes to organizing.

CTUBIH will work in the best interest of the company too. The prosperity and development of KONZUM means good and regular salaries for our members and we will do our best to make the developemnt of this company  joint effort of social partners. The success of the meeting today gives us hope and basis for future initiatives and activities that will benefit our members and the company as such.

We use this opportunity to thank our dear and good friend Ana Knežević,president of Confederation of TUs in Croatia who helped us to get the respective partenr on the same table. We also want to thank our members in KONZUM withouth whose information we would not be able to act fast and on the right way. We hope that also in the future the trust and confidence they gave us would be our joint strainght and the driving force of our cooperation.
