KONZUM workers in Ljubuški,Široki Brijeg,Vitina,Posušje organized in STBIH
The organizing mission in KONZUM continues. This step forward in the organizing efforst of STBIH is politically extreamly important. After then years of constant efforts and investing enourmious efforts and work, STBIH succeed in establishing its presence in West Herzegovina region. The number of close to 100 new members from this part of the country recognized STBIH as movement present in all parts of BIH and therefore unique comparing to other unions and organizations.

STBIH once again initiated joint approach in representing the workers of KONZUM. Altough gain apsolute power in number but also in activities with membership in KONZUM, STBIH is aware that only joint and unique aproach to the collective negoshiation process can bring the result for the members. Therefore, once again we initiate PPDIVUT to joint the process that STBIH has laready initiated and answer the interest of its members too. The new issue of STBIH magazine has been published with the support of HK region Agder og Rogoland Project for 2007. The PDF format (only in Bonsina unfortunaly can be read from the link in BH verssion of the site.

20-26 januara - Evropska sedmica borbe protiv raka grlića materice
BIH ove godine po prvi put obilježava ovu sedmicu posvećenu borbi protiv ove opake bolesti od koje godišnje u Evropi oboli između 50 i 60 hiljada žena a oko 25 hiljada ih umre, što ovaj oblik raka svrstava u jedan od najčešćih.
Tačnih podataka o oboljelim i umrlim ženama u BIH nema, ali se svrstava među najugorženije evropske zemlje sa stopom od osam umrlih na 100 000 žena.
Samo oboljevanje od raka grlića materice može se znatno smanjiti redovnim ginekološkim pregledima i papa testovima.Nažalost. svijest o važnosti redovnih pregleda u BIH i dalje je niska.
Upravo stoga, Sekcija žena STBIH još jednom podsjeća svoje članice da na početku nove 2008 godine stave svoje zdravlje na prvo mjesto i obave redovan pregled.

FIET Project office in cooperation with its partners and friends in Handels Sweden, regional organization of Sundswall proposed the project for strainghtening skills and competences of women leaders in CTUBIH has been approved by SIDA and suppose to start in spring 2008. First seminar is planned for March and all details concerning the project as well as Plan of implementation can be found in the previous pages.
