Second LIFe - virtualni svijet nudi nove mogućnosti organizovanja
Jeste li čuli za Second LIfe?
Second Life(Drugi svijet) je virtualni svijet sa 13 miliona stanara i milion korisnika svaki mjesec. Hiljade nevladinih organizacija i udruženja građana su se već uspostavile kako bi organizirale sastanke tamo gdje geografske i finansijkse barijere više ne postoje a u cilju dobijanja vizibilnosti i kombiniranja STvarnog života za novim virtualni inicijativama. Second Life je jedno od mjesta na kojima je UNI odlučio pronaći nove načine pristupa kompanijama i potencijalnim članovima ali i pružiti usluge postojećem članstvu.
UNION ISLAND ( SINDIKALNI OTOK)
Ovo ostrvo nudi mogućnost svim UNI članicama da: organizuju sastanke, prezentuju svoje trenutne teme i svoje kampanje, učestvuju na zajedničkim događajima poput Prvog maja, Dana žena i slično.

As a part of DETU Training Program for elected TU representtaives, fifth seminar was held in Blagaj 19-20 April.The main subject of the seminar was communication and connectio.The participants focused on written information in the union, how this used to be, and what has to be improved in the future as well as improving the skills of argumentation.The youth representatives presented their project "School informing". The seminar was facilitated by HUMAK experts together with PAM coordinator and union magazine editor.

After two years of constant efforts to bring employers on the same table CTUBIH finally launched the bargaining process.First meeting was held in the CTUBIH office on 2 April and the process started in positive atmosphere and with promissing conclussions. Most of the articles of the Collective Agreement were agreed already on the first meeting and the constant disagreement points such as price of labour, benefit will be disccused on the next meeting scheduled for end of this month. The new Collective Agreement is of great importance for CTUBIH not only as an act by most importantly because it proves the legitimicy of CTUBIH in all service sector. On this first meeting both partners agreed to include mobbing in the agreement and this is clear result of the campaign conducted by Women's section. CTUBIH proposed number of articles promoting rights of young service workers which will hopefully afterwards open lots of new doors for CTUBIH.

This year's Communicator's Forum held in Cape Town offered a possibility for CTUBIH to present its efforts in bulding up the communications of the union and the role of solidarity in this proccess. For more info read on: www.unicommunicators.org
